 V
 Ocean 1986

 CONTROLS : Keyboard, Kempston
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------
AIM : A race of evil reptilian aliens, the Visitors, are attempting to
take over the world (as usual). The humans are fighting back though,
and Michael Donovan, leader of the resistance, is attempting to sabotage
the alien mothership by planting bombs in key locations inside it.

GAMEPLAY : The Visitors have taken some security precautions to prevent
intruders like yourself from getting far. In particular, four kinds of
robots have to be dealt with:

 1) Surveillance	- follows you and enables the Visitors to track
			 you.
 2) Maintenance - fairly harmless; fixes things aboard the ship.
 3) Cleaner - airborne janitor robots, in effect.
 4) Security - should be avoided like the plague; fast and
			 dangerous.

All the robots are electrified to prevent interference. Contact with
them will thus give you a nasty shock - too many shocks will prove
 fatal.

Windows at the bottom of the screen show your progress. The bottom
left screen monitors commands being sent by the Visitors to the robots
and allows you to keep track of them. The middle display shows your
score and the time remaining; your laser power level and health are
shown as diminishing bars below this. On the right is a multi-purpose
console, divided into two sections with 2 vertical rows of 3 buttons
each. The left-hand part controls various game functions; clockwise
 from the top, these are:

 1) Pause or quit game.
 2) Ship information.
 3) Lay explosives.
 4) Log off (return to game).
 5) Display security code.
 6) Information on anti-Visitor red dust formula.

The right-hand section are the number keys; since the Visitors are
only six-fingered, they count in base 6 rather than our base 10. Every
so often you'll encounter a security door that can only be opened by
inserting a specific code. However, you can move from level to level by
using teleport pads; to use these, stand on one and press up to
teleport up or down to go downwards.

COMMENTS : "A neat arcade adventure".
 RATING : 70% (CRASH #29, June 1986)

NOW : It's aged quite badly (especially the graphics), and could only
really be called average to poor now.
