INSTRUCTIONS
Do I need to explain PacMan? Alright, briefly then. You guide a
small yellow ball with a big mouth around a maze eating dots.
Four ghosts chase you and will kill you if you are caught. The
only way to turn the tables is to eat one of the four larger
dots, which makes it possible for you to eat the ghosts for a
short period while they remain blue. Once all of the dots are
gone, it's the end of the level and you progress to the next
which is a bit faster.

CHEATS
Use POKE 30597,0 for infinite lives.

SEQUELS/PREQUELS
None. A million other PacMan clones, though!

SCORES RECEIVED
Gobble a Ghost was DEFINITELY released before any games reviewing
magazines were about. I guess that makes it kind of old.

GENERAL FACTS
Gobble a Ghost is also one of those rare beasts - a 16k game! It
has only very simple graphics and sounds, but then again so did
the original PacMan!

As a conversion, it isn't bad, but it's far from the best Speccy
PacMan game. PacMan himself is a little too thin, and there are
no "fleeing eyes" when you scoff a ghost, but the maze is
faithful to the arcade original even though the highly amusing
"intermission" screens are missing.

CDS did a number of other Spectrum titles very early in its life,
but then seemed to disappear.

NOTES
Gobble a Ghost is fun for a while, but you'll soon be aching for
a better Pac-clone. Probably your best bet if you've only got a
16k Speccy though!
