INSTRUCTIONS
Gulpman is a small man that you must guide around one of a
selection of mazes eating fruit. Once a level is clear of fruit,
you start again
only everything is a bit faster. Four nasty faces are on your
tail and
must be avoided at all costs, or they rob you of one of your
lives.
However, you do have a limited number of laser blasts which when
activated fire out in all four directions around Gulpman, sending
any
nasty face they touch back to its starting corner.

INLAY CARD TEXT
I don't have this, so if anyone can help out.....etc...
Full instructions are included as part of the game, though!

CHEATS
None that I know of.

SEQUELS/PREQUELS
None.

SCORES RECEIVED
I'm sure this was pre-games mag days!

URL
This is available in a number of places, although I seem to
remember
that some of the snapshots I originally came across were corrupt
and
didn't run properly. Take care. You can try searching for
GULPMAN.ZIP or
have a look at the snap here (which I can't guarantee....) -

GENERAL FACTS
A Pac-Man theme, but distinctly non-Pac gameplay. Plays more like
a straight collect and avoid game than the 'chase' style of Pac
Man.

Gulpman features 16 (I think) different mazes, but unfortunately
you don't progress to a new maze when you complete the level.
This means you can only swap mazes between games.

True to the original trusting family of Speccy programmers, in
the days before there was such a term as 'Piracy', Gulpman comes
complete with a 'Save the Game to Tape' option, which creates
another identical copy of the game on a tape of your choice!

The game is written in a mixture of BASIC and Machine Code, and
plays very quickly.

NOTES
Good, clean, non-violent fun from the very birth of the Speccy
era.
