DESCRIPTION
A side view split screen arcade game.

INSTRUCTIONS
The first thing you must select is your mode of control, and then
which level you would like to start at.

The aim of each level is to rescue the hostage who is held at the
end, simply by walking into them. However, actually getting to
the hostage is easier said than done. You can move left and
right using the appropriate keys. Your character also has a
jetpack which allows him to fly, although it does have limited
fuel. To move down, you simply walk off the edge.

There are several different types of aliens about as well.
Fortunately, your character has two weapons at his disposal; a
laser, which has quite a short range but can be used on the
aliens, and several sticks of tnt, which can be used to blow away
any walls that block your path.

You must also be careful not to touch ay of the lamps, otherwise
the screen will go completely black for that room you are in, and
you will have to try and guess your way through.

GENERAL FACTS
H.E.R.O. was converted from an Atari VCS cartridge game of the
same name. The Speccy conversion is almost identical to the
console original - hardly surprising seeing as the graphics are
nothing much! However, the playability remains excellent.

H.E.R.O. stands for
  Helicopter
  Emergency
  Rescue
  Operation

NOTES
This game is a bit like a futuristic Pitfall.
